Job summary

Freshpack, a Wisconsin-based cheese packaging company, seeks an HR Generalist to own payroll and recruitment while supporting onboarding, benefits, leave administration, and HR compliance.

You will partner with the HR team to process weekly payroll, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and maintain accurate employee records, providing timely employee support across the organization.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll accurately and on time and review timecards for accuracy.
• Post and maintain job openings and conduct initial screenings, coordinate interviews and send offer letters.
• Assist with onboarding, benefits enrollment, leave administration, and employee records.
