The ideal candidate has payroll experience, strong HR fundamentals, and an organized, confidential approach. This short-term role offers steady work on a day shift, with approximately 8 weeks of assignment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or related role.
• Prior payroll processing experience required.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and employee relations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for temporary leave coverage in Rice Lake, WI. In this role, you’ll be the go-to HR resource for employees and management while you help keep daily HR operations running smoothly. If you bring payroll experience, strong HR fundamentals, and a confident, organized approach, you’ll fit right in.

Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Location: Rice Lake, WI

Pay Range: $30.00 per hour

Shift: Day shift (start time between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM)

What's the Job?

• Process and support weekly payroll activities with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist with employee onboarding and new hire documentation.

What's Needed?

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
