Job summary

Galloway Company in Neenah, WI is seeking an energetic HR Generalist specializing in recruiting and employee relations. You will partner with leaders to plan staffing, manage end-to-end recruitment, coordinate onboarding, and support a positive employee experience.

You'll apply HR policies consistently, maintain HRIS/ATS workflows, and investigate concerns, helping to build a high-performing workplace. This full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent
• 3+ years progressive HR experience including talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee relations
• Working knowledge of HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
• Ability to build effective working relationships with employees and leaders
• Knowledge of recruiting practices, HR policies, and employment laws
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and support practical recruitment plans
• Use sourcing methods to attract qualified and diverse candidates
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment activities including posting, screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, and offer support
• Assist in developing accurate job descriptions and candidate profiles
• Support employer branding through career fairs and relation programs
• Coordinate onboarding activities for seamless new-hire transition; facilitate orientations
• Develop onboarding plans with managers to support productivity and engagement
• Gather onboarding feedback and suggest process improvements
• Maintain and report recruiting/onboarding metrics (time-to-fill, retention, onboarding satisfaction)
• Research and resolve HRIS-related issues in recruiting/onboarding modules
• Demonstrate behaviors aligned with Galloway culture and values
• Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and routine employee-relations matters
• Respond to employee concerns promptly and document actions
• Support workplace investigations in partnership with HR leadership
• Help ensure legal compliance and policy adherence
