Aivres is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our Milpitas, CA office. You will drive full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR operations across departments, partnering with managers to meet workforce needs and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, Talent Acquisition, or similar role.
• Demonstrated experience with full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, performance management, and HR operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, candidates, and senior leadership.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across different departments and levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple recruiting and HR projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and a high level of confidentiality.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle recruitment for multiple departments and levels, including postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, background checks, and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop recruiting strategies, provide candidate recommendations, and support headcount planning.
• Serve as an employer branding ambassador and promote a positive candidate and employee experience.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including new hire docs, orientation, verification, status changes, records, and separations.
• Serve as a primary contact for HR policies, benefits, payroll, attendance, leave, workplace concerns, and general HR questions.
• Support employee relations, including complaints, conflicts, attendance and performance concerns, disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations.
• Partner with managers on performance management, including reviews, coaching, PIPs, promotions, compensation adjustments.
• Interpret and update HR policies, procedures, and internal processes.
• Monitor HR practices and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Coordinate benefits administration and assist with medical, dental, vision, PTO, leave, holidays, and retirement plans.
• Support culture and engagement initiatives, internal communications, referrals, events.
• Prepare HR reports, communications, letters, and other HR materials.
• Collaborate with HR leadership and cross-functional teams on organizational changes and workforce planning.
• Handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Perform other HR-related projects and duties.
