Job summary

Arms Acres Inc. is seeking a Recruiter/HR Generalist to support staffing for our inpatient facility and three outpatient clinics. You will manage daily HR operations, serve as the point of contact for employee relations, recruitment, benefits, and policy compliance.

The role includes training, background checks, onboarding, and coordinating new hire orientation. You will partner with managers to determine required skills, assist with disciplinary matters and investigations, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least three years experience in sourcing, recruiting and onboarding.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
• Must have strong HR experience.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand required skills and competencies.
• Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications; implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
• Performs routine tasks to administer and execute HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition and morale, health and safety, and training and development.
• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex matters to appropriate staff.
• Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; reviews policies and practices to ensure compliance.
