We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our Milpitas, CA office. As a member of the Human Resources team, you will have the opportunity to involve or responsible for functions across HR from Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development and HR Shared Services etc. You will have opportunities to lead impactful project or improve routine HR support processes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for positions across multiple departments and levels, including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, compensation discussions, background checks, and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to understand workforce needs, develop recruiting strategies, provide candidate recommendations, and support headcount planning.
- Serve as an employer branding ambassador and promote a positive candidate and employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including new hire documentation, orientation, background verification, employment status changes, employee records, and separation processes.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, attendance, leave, workplace concerns, and general HR questions.
- Support and manage employee relations matters, including employee complaints, workplace conflicts, attendance and performance concerns, disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations.
- Partner with managers on performance management, including performance reviews, employee coaching, performance improvement plans, promotions, compensation adjustments, and other employee development matters.
- Interpret, communicate, and assist in developing or updating HR policies, procedures, employee guidelines, and internal HR processes.
- Monitor HR practices and support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, while maintaining appropriate employee documentation and confidentiality.
- Coordinate employee benefits administration and assist employees with questions related to medical, dental, vision, PTO, sick leave, holidays, retirement plans, and other company benefits.
- Support company culture and employee engagement initiatives, including internal communications, employee programs, referral programs, company events, and other HR initiatives.
- Prepare HR reports, employee communications, offer letters, compensation documentation, employment letters, and other HR-related materials.
- Collaborate with HR leadership and cross-functional teams on organizational changes, workforce planning, process improvements, and special HR projects.
- Handle sensitive and confidential employee information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Perform other HR-related projects, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, Talent Acquisition, or similar role.
- Demonstrated experience with full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, performance management, and HR operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, candidates, and senior leadership.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across different departments and levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple recruiting and HR projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and a high level of confidentiality.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment with shifting priorities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, collaborative, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese preferred.
