Job summary

MW Components, Inc. in Kentucky seeks an experienced HR Generalist to guide personnel policies and support manufacturing operations.

The role covers recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws, while maintaining employee relations and HRIS data accuracy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage payroll backup duties, and develop HR processes to support continuous improvement across the plant.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of human resources experience as a generalist, ideally in manufacturing.
• Associate or higher degree in HR or related field required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Recruiting experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personnel policies and guidance for business operations.
• Recruit/staff nonexempt roles; write and place ads; screen and interview candidates.
• Lead the hiring process from sourcing to offer negotiation.
• Coordinate outreach with vocational schools, institutes, and military programs.
• Develop HR metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing requirements.
• Administer benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal employment laws and update policies as needed.
• Coordinate onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews with cross-functional teams.
• Provide HR advisory support on absence, health issues, performance, and organizational change.
• Serve as payroll backup for bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll updates.
