Job summary

Gulf Bend Center is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR operations at our Victoria, TX location. You will collaborate with HR leadership to promote a compliant, trauma-informed workplace and to align HR activities with organizational goals.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and several years of HR experience, with preferred certifications (SHRM/PHR/CEBS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and 3+ years HR experience
• Preferred: BA/BS with 5+ years HR experience and HR certifications such as SHRM, PHR, CEBS

Responsibilities

• Recruitment: manage recruitment process and ATS, coordinate with hiring managers, source applicants, schedule interviews.
• Compliance and policies: ensure adherence to labor laws and Center policies, assist in policy development.
• Employee relations: coach managers and employees, address conflicts, support disciplinary processes.
• Employee lifecycle: oversee onboarding, offboarding, and benefits coordination; administer stay/exit interviews.
• Retention: support morale initiatives and career development opportunities with leadership.
• Benefits and payroll support: assist with benefit programs and payroll/timekeeping issues.
