Job summary

The Maryland Department of Juvenile Services is seeking a senior HR Generalist to partner with employees, supervisors, and managers on recruitment, classification, and staffing matters for the East Region.

You will manage end-to-end recruitment, review applications, coordinate interviews, and support onboarding, benefits, and related HR programs, with a focus on policy compliance and workforce planning.

Qualifications

• Six years of HR experience with recruitment and staffing responsibilities.
• Two years managing classification, compensation, and salary administration.
• Experience with job analysis, policy development, and HR program evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on recruitment, classification, and staffing matters.
• Prepare postings, screen applications, and oversee interview processes.
• Coordinate onboarding, FMLA, leave donation, and related HR programs.
