Maryland Treatment Centers is seeking an HR Generalist who will serve as the main point of contact for staff and managers throughout the employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and development.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years’ experience, a broad HR knowledge base, and a strong commitment to confidentiality and accuracy in documentation. This role requires travel to multiple Maryland locations and a supportive, compliant HR mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain complete and up-to-date employee files according to federal or state record retention requirements.
• Recruit, screen and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; post jobs, screen candidates, and collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for open positions.
• Implement new hire onboarding and orientation, as well as employee recognition programs.
• Administer routine employee changes that relate to, but are not limited to, performance, leave, compensation, development, occupational health and safety, recognition, and benefits.
• Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations and recommend best practices; Maintain current knowledge of guidelines such as Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Joint Commission Guidelines.
• Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Maintain and update human resources documents, such as organizational charts, directories, performance evaluations, etc.
• Provide guidance and support to management and supervisory staff on employee relations, performance improvement, and development.
• Other duties as assigned.
