Job summary

GEODIS in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to support daily HR operations and ensure compliance with regulations. You will advise supervisors on employee relations, conduct orientations, coordinate recruiting activities, and partner with HR leadership to resolve recurring issues.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions.
• Advises front line supervisors and managers on employee relations issues.
• Plans and conducts new employee orientations to foster positive attitudes toward company goals and effective hand-off to operations.
• Facilitates and documents employee engagements meetings.
• Partners with HR leadership to ensure resolution plans for critical or recurring issues.
• Leads supervisory and management training on HR topics.
• Responds to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs.
• Manages non-exempt and exempt recruiting activities, including job fairs.
