Qualifications

Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
Five+ years of progressive work experience in business practice.
Three years’ experience with Paylocity system.
Three years’ experience in a multi-division corporate environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related HR software.

Responsibilities

May assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Review, track, and document compliance with training, continuing education, and work assessments.
Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
Performs routine HR tasks including compensation, benefits, leave, and disciplinary matters.
Handles employment inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
Attend and participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintain compliance with employment laws and review policies to stay compliant.
Coordinate open enrollment, changes, and training for benefit programs.
Review, research and resolve benefit discrepancy issues.
Process documents for accurate record-keeping and deductions.
Notify employees about benefit changes and corrective actions.
Assist Corporate Recruiter with recruitment and interview process.
On-boarding and Off-boarding personnel per documented process.
Assist with payroll processing as requested by Payroll Specialist.
Provide customer service by answering employee requests timely.
Track and manage employee documents.
Produce and submit reports; stay updated on HR trends and laws.
Perform other duties as assigned.
