Job summary

Hennig seeks an HR Generalist to serve employees and supervisors on day-to-day HR matters, handling attendance, performance reviews, HRIS maintenance, leaves, accommodations, payroll issues, benefits support, and internal postings.

You will partner with HR leadership on employee relations, HR reporting, and departmental initiatives, ensuring accurate records and timely HR transactions across shifts, with a focus on confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred
• SHRM-CP/PHR certification preferred but not required
• Minimum 3 years’ HR experience; manufacturing HR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR contact for employees and supervisors on routine HR questions and policies
• Administer attendance program, tracking, discipline actions, and related documentation
• Conduct initial fact gathering for employee relations matters and investigations
• Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation
• Provide HR support for night shift employees and payroll-related tasks
• Administer performance reviews and handle related payroll updates
• Process employee transfers and wage changes with proper documentation
• Create and manage internal job postings and related records
• Handle new-hire data entry in Paylocity and other company systems
• Coordinate leaves (FMLA/STD) and accommodation paperwork
• Serve as liaison with benefits broker for employee questions
• Address payroll discrepancies and coordinate resolution
