LM Mfg in Detroit, MI is seeking an HR Generalist to support staffing, benefits administration, compensation, and employee relations. The role emphasizes training, onboarding, and compliance with HR laws while fostering a positive work environment.

You will handle benefits enrollment, attendance, leaves, and HRIS reporting, partnering with management to improve retention and productivity. Weekend/off-shift hours are required as needed, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of direct HR experience with increasing responsibility.
• Bilingual ability is a plus (Spanish/English).

Responsabilités

• Staffing, benefits, compensation, employee relations, and training duties.
• Administers benefits programs and open enrollment processes.
• Maintains HRIS records and generates reports.
• Gives day-to-day guidance on performance, coaching, and discipline.
• Delivers onboarding, orientations, and new hire paperwork.
• Assists with investigating employee relations issues and internal investigations.
• Works with management to improve work relationships and retention.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws and safety regulations.
