BorgWarner in Livonia, MI is seeking a Human Resources Generalist who partners with employees and leaders to deliver responsive HR support that strengthens the workforce experience and aligns with business priorities.

The role covers employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance and development, HR systems, compliance, workforce insights, and engagement in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive HR generalist or coordinator experience, preferably in manufacturing or automotive.
• Solid knowledge of employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training coordination, HR records and employment practices.
• Experience with HRIS and time-and-attendance tools; strong MS Office proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Provide HR support to employees and leaders to strengthen the employee experience.
• Advise on employee relations, policies, and escalation of issues.
• Coordinate recruiting activities, onboarding, and documentation.
• Support goal setting, performance feedback, and development planning.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with company and legal requirements.
