Job summary

Command Company is seeking an HR Generalist in Jefferson City, MO to provide hands-on HR support and partner with employees and managers on a day-to-day basis.

You will handle employee inquiries, assist with recruiting, onboarding and off-boarding, and help ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies. This is a people-focused role requiring strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• SHRM Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex matters to the appropriate staff.
• May attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Assist with employee recruiting, onboarding and off-boarding.
• Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment and organization-wide meetings.
• Prepare written communications such as letters and memos for the company.
• Review, tabulate and enter data into various systems.
• Handle incoming calls and promote effective interoffice communication.
• Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
