Job summary

The Center for Human Services (CHS) in Sedalia, MO, seeks a Human Resources Generalist to handle recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations. You will support administrative tasks, maintain policy compliance, and assist in audits while promoting a safe, inclusive workplace.

Qualified candidates will have an AA/AAS or equivalent, payroll system experience (Paycom preferred), and a background in serving individuals with disabilities. This is a full-time on-site role with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (AA or AAS) plus one year of experience, or combination of education and experience equal to four years
• AA/AAS in related field preferred
• Knowledge of Paycom platform preferred
• Experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist HR team with recruiting, onboarding, and candidate communications
• Support administrative HR tasks and data analysis
• Maintain organized HR policies and ensure compliance
• Assist in audits/inspections and monthly processing
• Cover for team members as needed and provide backup support
