Job summary

KVC Health Systems, Inc. in Missouri is seeking an HR Generalist to manage the onboarding process, background checks, and employee records. You will ensure compliance and deliver high-quality HR support across the employee lifecycle, including audits and data entry in our HRIS.

The role is hybrid, located in the St. Louis metro area, with travel as needed and a focus on serving children and families through compassionate, compliant HR practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and email applications.
• Experience in HR or professional administration; trauma-informed experience with children/families preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for internal and external customers via phone and walk-in interactions.
• Manage the full lifecycle of employee compliance, including background checks, clinical requirements, and I9 documentation.
• Collaborate with training and compliance teams to facilitate and host New Employee Orientation.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of new hire information and employee records in ADP.
• Support business unit audits by gathering and organizing required documentation.
• Assist with employee engagement activities, reports, and exit surveys.
• Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies and procedures.
