Benchmark Human Services is seeking an on-site HR Generalist for our Fort Wayne, IN office. The role requires a positive, organized individual capable of multitasking and leading HR initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

The position includes onboarding, compliance with HR regulations, and support for compensation, benefits, and leave programs. Candidates should have 2+ years in HR and a related degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of HR experience.
• Basic understanding of labor law.
• HRIS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non‑mandatory training.
• Provide onboarding management.
• Ensure compliance to all HR regulations and responsibilities.
• Facilitates hiring of qualified applicants with department managers.
• Performs routine HR tasks including compensation, benefits, and leave.
