Job summary

Blue View Builder in Oceanside, CA is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to partner with leadership across recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and compliance in a fast-paced construction, manufacturing, and technology environment.

You will manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and policy enforcement while supporting performance management, training, and records administration across office, shop floor, and field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• 3–5 years of progressive HR generalist experience across multiple areas.
• Working knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, payroll/benefits, and compliance.
• Ability to handle confidential information with sound judgment and discretion.
• Strong written communication for policies, letters, and employee communications.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills with multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Excel, ADP, and Gusto.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an HR contact for policies, payroll, benefits, and workplace concerns.
• Coach managers on documentation, performance expectations, and corrective actions.
• Support investigations and maintain accurate case documentation.
• Coordinate performance reviews, deadlines, and reporting.
• Support engagement, retention, communication, and culture-building initiatives.
• Coordinate onboarding plans, new-hire files, and orientation.
• Maintain compliant records and assist with audits and reports.
