Job summary

McNICHOLS seeks a proactive Human Resources Generalist to support over 325 associates across multiple locations from our Tampa HQ. You will handle onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, leave management, record-keeping, and compliance in a fast-paced corporate HR team.

Based in Tampa, FL, you will contribute to employee engagement, performance management, and process improvements while partnering with managers to ensure a positive employee experience across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of HR experience with broad responsibilities incl. payroll, benefits, leave administration, and compliance.
• Knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
• Confidential handling of employee records and sensitive information.
• Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR administration and employee data accuracy.
• Process lifecycle transactions: hires, transfers, leaves, promotions, separations.
• Maintain HRIS records and compliance docs.
• Support employee engagement and morale initiatives.
• Serve as a point of contact for HR policies, benefits, payroll, and leave programs.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and communication for employees.
