Job summary

Abimar Foods is seeking an HR Generalist to support payroll, benefits, leave administration, recruiting, training, and HR recordkeeping. This role partners with employees and management to ensure legal compliance and a positive workplace culture aligned with company values.

The candidate will handle HRIS data, generate reports, and assist with investigations, performance management, and policy implementation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Texas and federal employment laws.
• Strong payroll knowledge and accuracy in processing payroll.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll administration and ensure timely processing.
• Administer employee benefits programs and open enrollment.
• Coordinate leave programs (FMLA/STD/LTD) and maintain records.
• Maintain HRIS data, run reports, and ensure data accuracy.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and pre-employment screenings.
• Assist in employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
• Coordinate training, orientation, and compliance training.
• Support performance management and salary review processes.
• Ensure HR policies comply with laws and company requirements.
