Job summary

Ajasianfoods is seeking an HR Generalist to oversee day-to-day HR policies, benefits, training, engagement, employee relations, talent acquisition, and payroll basics. This role may be shared between two people to ensure coverage of core responsibilities.

The HR Generalist will lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly production roles, ensure legal compliance, manage onboarding, LOA processes, and attendance. Strong communication and relationship-building are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, labor relations, business, or related field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of Human Resource experience is required.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification is preferred.
• General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
• Ability to work off hours as necessary.
• Manufacturing/CPG experience preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Ability to understand people issues and build relationships.
• Experience in project management, resource management, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting and hiring for hourly production roles, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and company policies.
• Assist with attendance management, LOA processes, and return-to-work activities.
• Conduct employee relations investigations and document findings in ER systems.
• Support training, engagement initiatives, and frontline leadership development.

Education
