Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Three or more years of progressive HR experience preferred in logistics/operational environments.
• Working knowledge of federal and multi-state employment practices including wage and hour, EEO, and leave fundamentals.
• Experience coordinating onboarding or new-hire orientation and managing multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency with an HRIS (Paylocity preferred) and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate professionally at all levels and manage priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Own weekly new-hire orientation schedule and logistics for operations.
• Support recruiting activities for hourly and professional positions, including interviews and pre-employment requirements.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data and assist with HR audits and reporting.
• Serve as a first point of contact for routine employee questions on policies, benefits, payroll, timekeeping, and workplace expectations.
• Assist with employee relations matters, performance management, and timely escalation of risk issues.
• Provide administrative coordination for leave, accommodations, and compliance with HR policies.
