Otterbein SeniorLife in Indiana is seeking an HR Generalist to support onboarding, maintain HR records, and assist with system access across HRIS and learning platforms. This role focuses on delivering compliant, high-quality HR services aligned with our mission.

You will coordinate background checks and pre-employment steps, support partner and candidate experience, and help with events and communications. Strong organization, confidentiality, and customer-service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; 5+ years HR experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of HR experience.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of HR practices and employment regulations preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding coordination: manage recruitment coordination and pre-employment requirements.
• HR administrative support: maintain logs, reports, and compliant employee files.
• Systems & partner support: set up new hire access across HRIS and learning platforms; assist with system navigation.
• Community outreach & recruitment support: participate in career fairs and build community relationships.
• Team & operational support: assist HR team with events and special projects.
