Job summary

ECS Corporate Services in Fairfax, VA is seeking an HR Generalist to support onboarding, HR operations, and employee relations across the lifecycle. The role handles I-9 and E-Verify, HRIS data management, and Tier 1 benefits assistance.

You will serve as a first point of contact for employees and managers, resolving routine inquiries and partnering with HR leadership to ensure compliant, high-quality HR service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of combined Human Resources experience.
• Working knowledge of HR practices, employment documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting onboarding, employee records, or HRIS data management.
• Experience completing Form I-9 and E-Verify processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation, ensuring a positive and consistent employee experience.
• Enter and maintain employee data in the HRIS, including new hire information and changes.
• Complete and monitor Form I-9 and E-Verify processes.
• Provide Tier 1 benefits support and employee relations guidance.
• Respond to routine HR inquiries and escalate complex matters as appropriate.
