Job summary

ECS is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to work in our Fairfax, VA (hybrid) office. The role supports complex employee and manager inquiries, ensuring policy interpretation, compliance review, and independent issue resolution.

Responsibilities include employee relations, performance support, risk mitigation, and collaboration with HR leadership, Payroll, Benefits, and Legal. Salary range: $90,000-$115,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of progressive HR experience at the HR Generalist level or above.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, Title VII, etc.).
• Experience supporting employee relations and performance matters.
• Experience with HRIS platforms (ADP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for escalated and complex HR inquiries.
• Interpret and apply company policies consistently with employment laws.
• Provide guidance on HR system matters and paperwork processing.
• Document and track cases to ensure timely resolution and accurate recordkeeping.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Benefits, and Legal as needed.
