Job summary

ARServices is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to lead day-to-day HR operations for a growing government contracting organization in Alexandria, VA. You will act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, overseeing onboarding, employee relations, benefits, compliance, leave management, and engagement initiatives.

This role serves as the operational backbone of People Operations, handling the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through separation and ensuring HR

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Experience supporting onboarding, benefits, leave management, and HR operations.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for routine HR inquiries.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, integration, and separation activities.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to support pre-employment onboarding requirements.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, and personnel files.
• Monitor HR processes for consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
