Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking an HR Generalist to support onboarding, new hire orientation, I-9/E-Verify, HRIS data management, and Tier 1 benefits and employee relations. You will be the initial contact for employees and managers, resolving routine inquiries and escalating complex matters as needed.

Based in Fairfax, VA, this role collaborates with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, compliant HR processes and a high-quality employee experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of HR experience.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• Working knowledge of HR practices, employment documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting onboarding, employee records, or HRIS data management.
• Experience completing Form I-9 and E-Verify processes.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• General knowledge of employee benefits and employee relations practices.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and recognize matters requiring escalation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate onboarding and orientation, ensuring a positive employee experience.
• Complete and monitor Form I-9 and E-Verify processes.
• Enter and maintain employee data in the HRIS.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of employee records and documentation.
• Support lifecycle activities including changes, transfers, and separations.
• Provide Tier 1 benefits support and guidance on policies and programs.
• Respond to routine HR inquiries and escalate complex matters.
• Document and track employee inquiries, escalating as needed.
