Job summary

Company Confidential in Texas is seeking an HR Generalist to support a wide range of HR activities, including employee development, relations, policy interpretation, compensation administration, staffing and compliance.

The role collaborates with management and plant staff to address issues on the production floor, administer benefits, and drive initiatives that attract, train, and retain talent for the organization's short- and long-term needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
• 3 years HR experience, preferably in operations or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of employment law and applications.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including off-shift hours up to 25% of time.

Responsibilities

• Guides employees and managers on employee relations, policy interpretation, performance management, investigations, benefits and compensation programs.
• Partners with management in drafting and reviewing corrective action and performance improvement plans.
• Spends time on the production floor to maintain rapport and address issues.
• Serves as a liaison between employees and leadership on escalated issues and provides solutions.
