Job summary

Toyoda Gosei Americas is seeking an HR Generalist to manage full-cycle recruiting, investigations, and employee relations for a diverse workforce in Texas. You will forecast staffing, support onboarding, and ensure strict adherence to I-9, E-Verify, and federal/state employment laws.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in HR or related field and 3–5 years of experience, with proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP) and strong Spanish communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, manufacturing or automotive preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Title VII, FLSA, OSHA.
• Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong communication skills.
• Spanish language proficiency required for a bilingual workforce.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruiting for hourly and salaried roles.
• Conduct workplace investigations and track employee relations data.
• Advise managers on corrective action, discipline, and termination risk.
• Forecast staffing needs and develop proactive talent pipelines.
• Lead new hire orientation and onboarding to ensure rapid productivity.
• Maintain I-9 compliance and E-Verify processes.
• Track time-to-fill, offer acceptance, onboarding metrics; drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, EEO, and related laws.
• Maintain policies and employee handbook; communicate changes to leadership.
• Support audits with compliant HR documentation; oversee benefits enrollment.
• Collaborate with payroll on compensation changes and deductions.
• Maintain accurate HR data in HRIS and generate headcount reports.
