Norwood Medical is seeking an on-site Human Resource Generalist to support day-to-day HR for hourly manufacturing roles in Dayton, OH. You will serve as the primary HR contact, handling policies, attendance, performance, onboarding, and record-keeping in a regulated medical device setting.

You’ll partner with operations leadership, assist with leaves and workers’ comp, support timekeeping and payroll prep, and drive engagement initiatives while ensuring compliant HR processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR/Business Administration or related field.
• Three+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience supporting an hourly workforce is preferred.
• Knowledge of employment laws and employee relations.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary HR contact for hourly employees and leaders on policies, attendance, and performance.
• Coordinate onboarding for new hourly hires and maintain HR records.
• Partner with operations to address employee relations and regulatory needs.
• Assist with leaves, accommodations, workers’ compensation, and timekeeping.
• Support payroll preparation, attendance tracking, and corrective action documentation.
• Contribute to employee engagement, culture-building, and wellness initiatives.
