Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking a proactive HR Generalist to lead day-to-day people support for our Spokane, Washington facility and to help drive growth and development of the operation.

The role partners with site leadership and the broader HR team to cover employee relations, compliance, performance, benefits, and HR administration, while expanding workforce and capabilities to support significant production growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3-5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Demonstrated experience supporting recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leadership to translate production and growth plans into workforce requirements.
• Develop recruiting strategies for hourly skilled trades, technical, supervisory, and salaried positions.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, offers, and pre-employment processes.
• Build local talent pipelines with technical schools, community colleges, and workforce partners.
• Identify creative approaches to attracting skilled talent in a competitive labor market.
• Monitor recruiting metrics and workforce trends to support staffing and growth objectives.
• Partner with leadership to anticipate future workforce needs beyond immediate vacancies.
• Build a structured onboarding, training, and employee progression framework.
• Identify critical skills gaps and coordinate training plans for growth.
• Support development of career pathways and external training relationships.
• Track training effectiveness and workforce readiness; propose improvements.
• Serve as trusted HR advisor to site leadership and supervisors.
