Job summary

Optima Medical Management Group in San Diego is seeking an HR Generalist to provide day-to-day HR support with a strong focus on leaves, separations, and accommodations. You will serve as the primary resource for managers and staff, ensuring compliant administration of FMLA/CFRA/ADA programs and accurate HR records.

You will coordinate return-to-work, onboarding, training, and ongoing HR policy communication, while partnering with multiple departments to manage status changes and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years HR Generalist experience with leaves, separations, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA/CFRA/ADA and state leave laws (CA, AZ, IL, GA).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and administer leave and accommodation programs (FMLA/CFRA/ADA).
• Coordinate return-to-work activities and communications with managers.
• Manage employee separations and exits, including voluntary and involuntary terminations.
• Maintain accurate HR records in the HRIS system.
• Support onboarding, training, and HR compliance activities.
