Job summary

Tendercare Home Health Services, Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to support both office and field teams in leave administration, benefits, and employee relations. You will maintain HRIS data, assist with compliance, and help improve HR processes in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes accurate record keeping, policy guidance, and timely response to employee inquiries, with occasional local travel to job sites. Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on HR Generalist or HR Coordinator experience.
• Experience with benefits, leave administration (FMLA/STD), workers' comp, and employee relations.
• Knowledge of core labor laws, wage/hour standards, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Leave & Claims Administration: manage end-to-end programs incl. eligibility, documentation, and return-to-work.
• Benefits Coordination: assist enrolments, events, inquiries, and broker/vendor liaison.
• Employee & Manager Support: respond to inquiries and advise on policies and procedures.
• Employee Relations & Performance: assist investigations and corrective action documentation.
• HRIS & Data Integrity: maintain confidential records and audit reports for accuracy.
• Compliance & Audits: support adherence to federal/state/local regulations, HIPAA where applicable.
• Process Improvement: help draft new policies and forms to streamline HR workflows.
