Job summary

Asbury Communities in Frederick, MD, is seeking an HR Generalist II to independently support a broad range of HR functions, assist with onboarding, performance management, policy application, compliance, engagement, retention, benefits, payroll, and employment status processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, 3 years HR experience, and preferably SHRM-CP/PHR certification; strong MS Office and HR software experience; on-site presence and meticulous attention to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, business or related field required.
3 years of progressive HR experience required.
SHRM-CP, PHR or similar certification is preferred.
Experience with HR software.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work well independently.

Responsibilities

Serving as a point-of-contact for associates and managers for guidance on Human Resource matters.
Oversee the onboarding process including requesting, collecting and processing employment paperwork, as well as verifying compliance for licensing and credentialing of associates.
Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures.
Responsible for completing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the Human Resources Department.
