Job summary

The Walsh Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an energetic Human Resources Generalist to join our regional office. You will manage employee records, support onboarding, benefits, training, policy implementation, and ensure compliance with employment laws.

This role partners with HR management to handle employee inquiries, generate reports, develop training materials, and participate in audits. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's in HR or 3–5 years HR experience, plus Workday and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or 3-5 years HR experience.
• 1-3 years Workday experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Solid knowledge of HR principles and current federal/state labor laws.
• Discretion handling confidential information with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
• Serve as primary contact for employee inquiries and investigations.
• Communicate with all levels while ensuring privacy and legal compliance.
• Generate HR reports and analyze metrics in HRIS.
• Develop HR training material and newsletters.
• Assist with benefits programs, enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Support department goals and drive process improvements.
• Complete internal HR audits and ensure compliance (I-9, E-Verify, W-4).
• Perform other related duties as required.
