Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Regional HR Generalist for the Little Falls, NJ office. You will support corporate HR with day-to-day operations, handle new hire paperwork, payroll coordination, and training of project admins at various job sites.

This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, confidentiality, and willingness to travel to jobsites (including Chicago for HR meetings). The division is Transportation, with potential for growth and ongoing development

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Microsoft Office experience is required.
• Experience with in-house programs such as PCTime, CMiC, Apextender.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and confidentiality.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and travel as needed.
• Must be able to sit and use a computer for long periods, often with a phone.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Travel to all jobsites regularly (at least twice a year), and to Chicago for HR meetings as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare new hire paperwork and verify documentation in E-Verify.
• Train project admins on payroll, insurance applications, and CDL driver requirements.
• Coordinate weekly payroll submissions and inform corporate payroll with hours.
• Travel to jobsites to train CDL drivers on paperwork requirements.
• Assist with annual admin training and coordinate event logistics.
• Manage mileage and regional vehicle registrations and updates.
• Assist regional employees with payroll and insurance questions.
• Coordinate with regional recruiter for recruiting fairs and events.
• Help regional staff with travel arrangements in Concur and hotel search.
