Job summary

Pilgrim is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support our plant operations in Missouri. The role focuses on advising management on personnel issues, handling employee relations, ensuring compliance with ADA/FMLA/EEOC, and maintaining HRIS data quality.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of HR experience, strong communication skills, and is comfortable navigating fast-paced environments. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; relocation may be considered.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of HR experience required.
• Customer-focused attitude and excellent communication skills with high level of professionalism and discretion.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet dynamic deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office suite; bilingual Spanish is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management to advise and counsel on personnel issues.
• Cover and fill in when Human Resources Manager is absent.
• Provide facility supervision on employee relations matters including investigations and communications.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with ADA, FMLA, EEOC, and monitor labor law updates.
• Establish and maintain departmental reports and key indicators; recommend policy improvements.
• Prepare and maintain records for personnel transactions and HRIS integrity.
• Respond to inquiries by governmental agencies including employee complaints.
• Oversee internal company communications such as bulletin boards and newsletters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
