Job summary

Interstate Moving | Relocation | Logistics is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations, including benefits, employee relations, and compliance. The role emphasizes administering health plans, Open Enrollment, and inquiries from staff, with opportunities to influence HR processes and policies.

The position requires solid knowledge of COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, HIPAA, and related regulations, plus experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR with seven to nine years of HR experience, or Master’s in HR with three years of HR experience, or eight years HR experience.
• Certification in CEBS, PHR or SHRM-CP preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Administers health and welfare plans including enrollments and terminations.
• Processes payroll and insurance documents for accurate records and deductions.
• Responds to employee questions and assists with HR issues.
• Manages Open Enrollment and monthly insurance billings.
• Maintains and updates Job Description database and orientation training program.
• Assists with disciplinary processes and investigations as needed.
