Novae LLC is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with leaders and support employees across recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, policy administration, and employment law compliance. A four-year degree in HR or hands-on HR experience is preferred.

The role emphasizes advocating for positive relations, safety oversight, and continual improvement within a manufacturing environment. Travel locally to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required, or demonstrated skills and experience, preferred.
• PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
• Knowledge of multiple HR disciplines.
• Knowledge of safety best practices and OSHA regulations.
• Experience with managing safety programs and implementation of new safety practices.
• Knowledge of FMLA/COBRA/USERRA/HIPAA basics.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office.
• Highly motivated with customer service mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with all levels of management.
• Able to manage confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment: perform active recruitment, selection and hiring functions for all positions; represent at job fairs; screen applications; coordinate testing; conduct interviews; background checks; extend offers and coordinate onboarding.
• Advise employees on benefits, policies, employment laws, and foster positive relationships and growth.
• Advise leaders on policies and employment laws; help with corrective action processes and documentation.
• Support safety of teams; teach safe work practices; investigate accidents; maintain safety reports; participate in corrective actions.
• Participate in projects for continual improvement within HR.
• Develop HR solutions by collecting/analyzing information and recommending actions.
• Stay current on job knowledge through educational opportunities and professional involvement.
• Perform other duties as needed.
