Job summary

Barrday Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with local management in Charlotte, NC, delivering HR programs, infrastructure and systems that support our business, mission and values. The role covers recruitment, compensation and benefits, planning, employee development and relations.

The successful candidate will combine strategic and hands-on HR expertise, with a focus on regulatory compliance, payroll data accuracy and employee engagement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field is required.
• 4+ years of HR experience in a non-union manufacturing environment preferred.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate others where there is no direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Deliver HR programs, infrastructure and systems aligned with Barrday’s business needs for the Charlotte operation.
• Lead recruitment, compensation and benefits, HR planning, employee relations and development.
• Coach managers on HR practices, policy interpretation and performance management processes.
• Oversee recruitment strategies and management of agency relationships.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and keep records, reports and logs (EEO, leaves, payroll data).
