Novae LLC in Clarinda, IA seeks an experienced HR Generalist ready to grow into an HR Manager role. You will operate independently, connect HR decisions to business outcomes, and take ownership of complex HR responsibilities.

This position emphasizes integrity, accountability, and building trusted relationships with teams and leaders. The role covers recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, policy administration, and employment law

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or demonstrated HR experience.
• PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
• Knowledge of HR disciplines, safety and employment laws.
• Strong IT skills and communication abilities.
• Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle recruitment, screen candidates, conduct interviews and extend offers.
• Serve as business partner to leaders, handling HR responsibilities and policies.
• Advise on benefits, policies, employment laws and employee relations.
• Support safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance where applicable.
• Contribute to projects for continuous HR process improvement.
• Analyze information to develop HR solutions and actions.
• Maintain knowledge through education, publications and networks.
