Job summary

Ornua North America is hiring a Human Resource Generalist to support multiple business units across the United States. You will handle employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, coaching, and benefits administration.

Work with HR leadership to implement best practices, ensure compliance, and sustain a positive workplace culture. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of HR experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
• 3 years HR experience including employee relations in manufacturing
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Investigate employee relations, safety, and performance issues and advise on actions.
• Assist with recruitment for non-exempt and internal transfers; handle paperwork and onboarding.
• Coordinate new hire orientations and onboarding; socialize new hires with company information.
• Conduct employee feedback meetings and assist with policy changes and improvements in work environment.
• Coach supervisors on employee relations matters and difficult discussions.
• Respond to questions about benefits, wages, and working conditions; escalate as needed.
• Support HR compliance audits for designated facilities.
• Assist with leave processes and training programs for employees.
• Serve as liaison between management and employees; interpret and administer policy.
• Assist with validating Time and Attendance in support of payroll.
• Support facility celebrations and recognition initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all HR activities.
• Participate in meetings, training, and cross-functional projects.
