Job summary

Principe Foods is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support the plant with HR best practices, employee relations, and performance guidance. The role focuses on partnering with management to drive effective human resources strategies within a manufacturing environment.

We value a proactive HR professional who can handle investigations, regulatory compliance, and data integrity while fostering a positive relationship between personnel and management.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of HR experience required.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Customer-focused with strong communication and discretion.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual Spanish is a strong plus.
• Must be open to future relocation opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Advise and counsel management on personnel issues.
• Cover and fill in when HR Manager is absent.
• Supervise employee relations investigations and communications.
• Ensure ADA, FMLA, EEOC compliance; monitor labor law updates.
• Establish and maintain departmental reports and HR metrics.
• Publish and administer personnel policies.
• Maintain HRIS integrity and personnel data.
• Respond to government agencies requests.
• Handle internal communications including bulletin boards/newsletters.
• Administer unemployment claims.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
