Job summary

Western Enterprises, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist in Westlake, OH. The role supports all HR activities, ensures policy compliance, and helps with onboarding, payroll, benefits, and employee relations in a manufacturing environment.

You will maintain confidential employee records, assist with performance reviews, and coordinate HR programs with cross-functional teams. A Bachelor’s in HR and 3–5 years’ HR experience are required, with ADP/Workday experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field is required.
• 3–5 years of HR experience required.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support all phases of HR activity and ensure compliance.
• Recruit, interview, and support selection of employees.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires.
• Maintain employee records (hires, promotions, transfers, reviews, terminations).
• Administer benefits programs (health, life, disability, retirement, leave).
• Support performance reviews and salary administration for fairness.
• Assist with employee relations and workplace issue resolution.
• Process hourly payroll and maintain personnel data.
