Job summary

Safran Cabin seeks an Experienced Human Resources Generalist to support Marysville, WA operations. The role focuses on recording, maintaining, and reporting HR information and fostering effective communications with personnel and management. Reports to the site HR Manager.

The position handles employee relations, recruitment, benefits, onboarding, leave administration, and HR data maintenance, ensuring compliance with laws and company policies. 3+ years of HR Generalist experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years' HR Generalist experience.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and payroll basics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and management skills with the ability to direct, motivate and give feedback.
• Highly organized with the ability to track multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Partner with employees and management to communicate HR policies, laws, and regulations.
• Investigate and resolve day-to-day employee relations issues and document findings.
• Handle unemployment claims representations and employment records.
• Recruit, screen, and interview applicants for entry-level to professional roles.
• Review applications and match experience to job requirements.
• Manage benefits inquiries and resolve issues promptly and fairly.
• Coordinate new hire orientations and onboarding processes.
• Process termination paperwork and COBRA as required by law.
• Prepare HR reports and maintain personnel data across systems.
• Coordinate leaves (FMLA/PFL/MJ) and payroll back-up support.
• Support payroll processing as needed.
• Attend administrative meetings and assist with HR-related projects.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws.
