Job summary

Rent the Runway (RTR) is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with employees and managers across the full lifecycle, delivering compliant HR programs and hands-on administration. You will advise on policy, manage employee relations, onboarding, and performance initiatives while maintaining data integrity in HRIS and supporting site engagement.

Qualifications

• 4 years of progressive HR experience supporting multiple functions or locations.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and data reporting.
• Experience handling employee relations matters, investigations, and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Bachelor's degree; HR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Resolve employee relations issues with policy and labor-law compliance.
• Support performance management including goal setting and reviews.
• Maintain HR records in Workday and ensure data integrity for reporting.
• Assist investigations and follow-up actions related to attendance, conduct, or performance.
• Guide site leaders on engagement initiatives and culture-building activities.
• Support onboarding and new-hire assimilation processes.
• Prepare HR metrics and reports for reviews and insights.
• Ensure compliance with employment regulations and audits.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Safety, and Operations on employee matters.
