Job summary

Runway is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to own the day-to-day of HR and help scale a fast-growing team. You'll run core programs end to end, advise managers and employees on sensitive situations, and partner with the HR Manager to fix what's broken.

You will manage onboarding to offboarding for employees and contractors, HRIS administration in Rippling, immigration processes with outside counsel, and ensure compliance across states.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR Generalist or people operations experience at a high-growth company.
• Strong knowledge of benefits, leave administration, immigration basics and multi-state employment law.
• Experience running company-wide programs like performance cycles and open enrollment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to advise managers and senior leaders.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding for full-time employees and contractors.
• Own HRIS administration and data integrity in Rippling, including reporting, audits and workflow automation.
• Manage employee visa and immigration processes in partnership with outside counsel.
• Oversee leave administration and accommodations across jurisdictions, and keep policies and practices compliant with current employment law.
• Run key programs end to end with the HR Manager, including performance reviews, open enrollment, engagement surveys and compensation cycles.
• Act as the go-to resource for employees and managers on benefits, policies and HR processes.
• Identify gaps in HR operations and ship fixes: updated policies, clearer documentation and more efficient tooling.
• Pitch in wherever the team needs; no task is too small if it moves things forward.
