Job summary

Scientific Safety Alliance (SSA) is seeking an HR Generalist/Coordinator to own onboarding, offboarding, and branch HR support across multiple locations in the United States. You will manage benefits questions, 401(k) administration, and U.S. employment law compliance, ensuring a high-touch employee experience.

You will coordinate with the benefits broker, maintain accurate HR records in ADP WFN, and help scale HR processes during rapid growth, acquisitions, and integration of new companies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR generalist or HR coordinator experience.
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (required).
• Working knowledge of employee benefits, 401(k) administration, leave programs, and U.S. employment law.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding: manage full new-hire experience including paperwork, I-9, E-Verify, and system access.
• Offboarding: coordinate exits, final pay, benefits notices, and access removal.
• Branch support: advise leaders and employees on HR matters across locations.
• Benefits & 401(k): assist with questions, open enrollment, and plan issues.
• Policy guidance: interpret and communicate policies and handbook updates.
• ADP Workforce Now: maintain employee data, process changes, support self-service.
• Compliance: ensure postings, leave admin, and recordkeeping compliance.
• Integrations & process improvement: onboard acquired companies and build scalable HR checklists.
